Incredible that this film is based on actual events, it is more cringe-inducing than every Ricky Gervais moment on The Office and Extras and just when you think it can’t get worse or the people in the movie any dumber, it does and they do.

Not a great movie, but one that really messes with your mind, especially when you figure-out that it really was a true story. However, there would have at least been a point for me where I probably would have realized that it was all a terrible hoax. Good review.
The movie has its flaws, but it’s probably about as good a portrayal of the real events as we’re going to get in a major motion picture. Lots of people are angry with this movie, but it’s just delivering to us in rather soft-pedaled form something that actually happened. Are we going to close our eyes to reality?
